IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING!
August 2021
We are finally able to say that we will be visiting the orphanage this August! The kids have been very patient, and this is the longest time we have all spent apart. We are currently accepting donations in Los Angeles, CA and Miami, FL to be taken for the second week of August. Stay in the loop through our instagram page (@hastalalunaofficial), it's where we post most of our updates. The party for the children is set for August 20th!
PLAY GROUND
June 2021
The Play Ground is a constant maintenance battle, but that only means that the kiddo's are loving it! We've now added a roof over the playground, and a layer of artificial grass on the bottom for added comfort. Now the children can play no matter the weather, and no more pesky sand ruining the washing machine!
DONATIONS ARRIVED
March 2021
Although the annual party is still postponed, we are doing our best to continue to provide them with clothes, toys and supplies through the year. Our last collection of donations has made it safe and sound to the orphanage!
COVID-19
December 2020
We are very sad to announce that our annual Christmas party has been postponed until further notice. For everyone's safety, which is our main priority. All donations and supplies will continue to be delivered to the orphanage. Thank you for your continued support, even through the hardest of times.
6 MORE DAYS!
12-1-19
We are only 6 days away from the big day! Most of our bags have made it to Ecuador, just waiting on some team members to bring the rest of the donations into the country! Thank you to everyone who has donated, we will make sure it all gets to the hands of our favorite little nuggets.
We are currently no longer collecting toys or clothing, due to limited space for transportation.
However, we ARE COLLECTING MONETARY DONATIONS. This is used for the party day entertainment (clown, music), food, beverages, party bags, candy, decorations, and any last minute gifts for teenagers which were not received.
BROKEN PLAYGROUND
11-28-19
The normal "wear and tear" really got expedited with the Playground we got the kids this last February. Can't be too surprised when you have 80 kids enjoying it non stop. We've been informed the climbing ropes have torn, and the wood is starting to rot. We didn't plan for this, but the playground is very special to these guys, big and small. So we're in the middle of replacing parts, varnishing the wood, and building a roof to protect the infrastructure from the harsh sun and rain. Hoping to have it all ready before our arrival. Will update you once the playground is all new again! Thank you again for your donations and nonstop support!

Thanks to everyone who has been asking about how they can help for this years celebration (& to those who have already donated). We're working on sorting through everything, to make sure that EVERY child from the orphanage feels just as special as the rest will.

It's officially official, the date for our annual Christmas Party has been set for December 7th! And now, we scramble frantically to try to make this a day they'll never forget. Only a month away, and we still have a long way to go. But we know it'll all fall into place, all thanks to your help. Can't wait to see those faces light up!
